Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Koali platform by candidates, recruiters, and administrators.
1. Platform purpose
Koali is a quality-first hiring platform. Candidates purchase application credits. Recruiters post roles, review candidates, and access posting tools through a recurring subscription.
Koali is not an employer, recruiting agency, or guarantor of any interview, offer, or employment outcome.
2. Candidate applications and credits
Applying to a role consumes one application credit. Credits are sold in bundles and are deducted at the time an application is successfully submitted.
If a recruiter fails to provide a response within Koali's 10 business day review window, the platform may automatically refund the application credit associated with that submission.
Candidates are responsible for ensuring the information they submit is accurate, lawful, and owned by them.
3. Recruiter responsibilities
Recruiters must provide accurate company and role information, maintain lawful hiring practices, and respond to every application within the platform's required SLA.
Recruiters may only confirm placements that occurred through legitimate hiring activity and must provide accurate compensation information when confirming a placement.
Koali may suspend, limit, or remove recruiter access for abuse, fraud, repeated SLA breaches, or policy violations.
4. Recruiter subscriptions and billing
Recruiter access to listing creation and publishing may require an active paid subscription. Subscription billing is handled through Koali's payment provider and renews according to the plan selected by the recruiter.
Placements confirmed in the platform may be recorded for analytics and reporting, but they do not independently trigger a success fee unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
5. Verification, moderation, and account control
Koali may manually verify recruiter accounts before allowing roles to be published. Koali may also review listings, profiles, and applications for fraud prevention, policy enforcement, or platform safety.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, deceptively, or in a manner that harms other users or the platform.
6. Service availability and limitations
Koali aims to keep the service available and reliable, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Integrations such as email, payments, storage, and background processing may occasionally be unavailable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koali is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
